Not much was known of him before is role as Cedric Diggory – who suffered a tragic death in the movie, cutting short his screen time – in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. But now that he’s played the teenage vampire Edward, protagonist of the widely and insanely popular Twilight, the movie adaptation of the equally popular eponymous novel, Robert Pattinson is fast becoming one of Hollywoods hottest male leads.
He’s set to reprise his role as the pale bloodsucker in the future installments of the vampire series, which is derived from the novels written by Stephenie Meyer.
Unknown to many, Pattinson is also a musician and singer, and is responsible for two vocals in the Twilight soundtrack, one of which he co-wrote. He can play both guitar and piano, which will probably make him more of an Adonis in the eyes of his legions of Twilight fans.
