Daniel Wroughton Craig is an English actor, He was born on March 2, 1968 in Chester, England. He is the son of Olivia Williams, who is an art teacher and Timothy John Craig, a midship man of the Merchant Navy. His father worked many jobs when he came ashore. He is Joe Craig’s cousin, a spy thriller novel writer. Daniel grew up in Wirral Merseyside. He moved to London when he turned sixteen and joined the National Youth Theater at Calday. Craig is the 6th actor to land the much coveted role of the fictional secret agent, James Bond 007, an Eon Productions series. Casino Royale in which he starred, became the highest grossing James Bond film. Quantum of Solace, the number 22 Bond movie was released last October 31, 2008.
