This 70 year old actor is one of the most respected and popular personalities in hollywood. Morgan Freeman is one of my personal all time hollywood favorites. I just love Morgan’s consistent authoritative composure in any film role he is assigned to portray. His deep voice is definitely one asset he posseses that makes him very convincing every time he delivers a line.

Recalling all the best effective actors in the history of hollywood who have stood time and soared real high in their professional careers, it would be a sin not to put Morgan Freeman in that valuable list. Whether it be a comedy role, or a high profile role for a movie that requires a deep thinking audience, then do watch Morgan’s films and find out why I admire this very good actor.

Named as the Sexiest Man alive, William Bradley Pitt is the eldest of three children. Born in Oaklahoma and raised in Springfield Missouri, Pitt left College two credit short to move to California. Before he became successful at acting, Pitt worked at El Pollo Loco dressing as a great giant chicken while working. He also worked as a swimming pool attendant, bus boy and refrigerator boy. He took acting classes from the money he earned from these jobs. His first feature film was ‘The Dark Side of the Sun’. Shot in pre-war Yugoslavia, most of the film’s footage were lost and recovered only after five years. Brad Pitt’s charming bad boy charisma and sexual playfulness secured him as genuine sex symbol when he appeared in Ridley Scott’s Thelma and Lewis. Some of his most noted films are: Interview with the Vampire, Legends of the Fall, Seven, Seven Years in Tibet, Troy and Oceans eleven. Brad Pitt married famous tv actress Jennifer Aniston in 2000 and got divorced after five years of marriage. He is now living with Angelina Jolie with their three children in New Orleans.

Many filmgoers lament that Hollywood doesn’t make movies like they did in the Golden Age. Screwball romantic comedies have long since passed the scene, replaced by gross-outs like American Pie and There’s Something about Mary. Even normal romantic comedies seem handicapped by modern cynicism or burdened by political correctness, as in the entertaining but message-laden You’ve Got Mail and especially Two Weeks Notice.

This does not mean the situation is friendly. The trade paper Daily Variety reports that the divorce between the two unions is likely to “muddy the town’s labor outlook.”
What reportedly prompted the split was SAG’s alleged attempt to step into AFTRA’s waters and negotiate on behalf of the daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.

I hate to keep bringing up person-by-person casting on J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek XI due out next year, but this time it’s a must. Yesterday, Captain Kirk and the film’s villain were cast, and today we add another big one. Simon Pegg will star as Montgomery “Scotty” Scott!! I just can’t believe it, but Variety has confirmed it!
